Emergency? Call 911 or go to the nearest ER. Do not wait online for trouble breathing, chest pain, confusion or severe symptoms.

Physician-led virtual care for adults physically in Colorado, including Denver, Colorado Springs, Aurora, Fort Collins and Boulder. Americare is based in Fairview, Texas. Care is provided by Nicholas Atudonyang, MD under his Colorado physician license (DR.0078666, telehealth only) with Salome Sutter, MSN, APRN, FNP-C participating in assessment and care. Dr. Atudonyang issues any Colorado prescriptions when clinically appropriate. Visits are virtual; Americare has no Colorado office. If an emergency arises during a video visit, your clinician will contact emergency services for your location and stay connected with you until help arrives.

Hours in your local time

Monday–Friday 10 AM–6 PM and Saturday 11 AM–3 PM Mountain time. Sunday closed. Availability depends on provider coverage, and wait times vary.

Primary and urgent care by video

Selected new symptoms, blood-pressure and diabetes follow-up, medication monitoring and results review can start online. Some concerns require local examination or testing. Use an appropriate nearby Colorado facility when hands-on care is needed; our listed in-person network is in Texas. At high altitude, shortness of breath, confusion or severe headache needs prompt in-person care.

Fever, cough and body aches in Colorado: online visit or in-person care?

What can start online?

A video visit can assess selected mild-to-moderate cough, congestion, sore throat, fever and body aches. Symptoms alone cannot reliably distinguish flu from COVID-19; testing or an in-person exam may be needed. Itchy eyes and sneezing may suggest allergies but do not rule out an infection.

What to have ready

Know when symptoms began. Have your temperature, test results if available, medications, allergies, health conditions and pharmacy information ready. Your provider confirms your physical location.

When to seek care promptly

If you are pregnant, older or have a condition increasing your risk of serious illness, seek prompt advice. Flu treatment works best when started early; treatment may still help some high-risk or seriously ill patients later. Do not wait for a routine online visit if symptoms are severe.

What $39 includes

A clinical evaluation, treatment recommendations and prescriptions or testing orders when appropriate. It does not buy a guaranteed antibiotic, antiviral prescription or work note.
