We are not starting new ED treatment or changing medicines or doses at this time. If you've never been prescribed ED medicine, or yours isn't working, please see your primary care doctor or a urologist.

Free ED self-check (SHIM questionnaire)

Based on the SHIM (Sexual Health Inventory for Men), a questionnaire clinicians use to gauge ED. Think about the past 6 months. Your answers stay in your browser and are not saved or sent.

0 of 5 answered
1. How would you rate your confidence that you could get and keep an erection?
2. When you had erections with sexual stimulation, how often were they hard enough for penetration?
3. During intercourse, how often were you able to keep your erection after penetration?
4. During intercourse, how difficult was it to keep your erection until completion?
5. When you attempted intercourse, how often was it satisfying for you?

Can I continue my ED medicine online?

Answer these safety questions. Nothing is saved or sent.

Do you use nitroglycerin, isosorbide, or "poppers" (amyl or alkyl nitrite), even occasionally?
Do you take riociguat (Adempas)?
Do you take vericiguat (Verquvo)?
Do you get chest pain, fainting, or unusual shortness of breath with sex or exercise?
In the past 6 months, have you had a heart attack, stroke, stent or heart surgery?
Can you climb about two flights of stairs without chest pain or marked shortness of breath?
Is your current ED medicine working satisfactorily for you?

This self-check is educational and is not a diagnosis. A clinician reviews your full health history before any treatment decision. A prescription is provided only if it's safe and appropriate for you.

ED medicines we continue

Sildenafil (generic Viagra)

Common doses: 25 mg, 50 mg and 100 mg, taken as needed, usually about an hour before sex. Effects typically last several hours.

Tadalafil (generic Cialis)

Taken as needed (10 mg or 20 mg), or as a low daily dose (2.5 mg or 5 mg). Effects can last up to about 36 hours, which is why it's sometimes called "the weekend pill."

We continue the medicine and dose you already take. We don't prescribe vardenafil, avanafil, compounded troches or "chewable" ED products, and we don't start new treatment or change doses at this time.

Serving patients across Texas, including Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, McKinney, Plano and Frisco.

When online ED refills aren't the right fit

Never take sildenafil or tadalafil with nitrates (nitroglycerin, isosorbide), poppers or riociguat. For the other situations below, ED medicine may still be possible, but it needs an in-person evaluation, so we refer you to your own doctor, a cardiologist or a urologist if you:

ED can be an early sign of heart disease or diabetes. Whatever your result, we'll recommend a checkup with a primary care doctor.

ED refill questions

Can I refill my sildenafil or tadalafil prescription online in Texas?

Yes, if you are in Texas, already have a current prescription and want the same medicine and dose. A clinician reviews your health questionnaire and sends a prescription to your pharmacy only if it is safe and appropriate.

Is sildenafil the same as Viagra, and tadalafil the same as Cialis?

Sildenafil is the generic version of Viagra and tadalafil is the generic version of Cialis. Generics contain the same active ingredient and are usually much less expensive.

What is the difference between sildenafil and tadalafil?

Sildenafil is usually taken about an hour before sex and lasts several hours. Tadalafil lasts up to about 36 hours and can also be taken as a low daily dose. We continue whichever medicine and dose you already take.

Can you start new ED treatment or change my dose?

Not at this time. We only continue a current sildenafil or tadalafil prescription at the same dose. For new treatment or a dose change, see your primary care doctor or a urologist.

Which states do you serve?

Available in Texas, Oklahoma and Florida. Your physical location is confirmed at care.

Will I need a video visit?

Sometimes. Depending on your answers, your clinician may complete your care by secure message or a short video visit.

Am I guaranteed a prescription?

No. You pay for a medical evaluation. A clinician decides whether treatment is safe and appropriate for you.

Who should not take ED medication?

Anyone who uses nitrates such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide, poppers, or riociguat should not take sildenafil or tadalafil. Taking sildenafil or tadalafil with vericiguat is not recommended because of the risk of low blood pressure. People with a recent heart attack or stroke, chest pain or breathlessness with activity, or very low or very high blood pressure are not eligible for our online refill service and should see their own doctor or cardiologist.

Is ED a sign of heart disease?

It can be. Erectile dysfunction can be an early warning sign of heart disease, diabetes or high blood pressure, so a checkup with a primary care doctor is recommended.

Do you prescribe testosterone or controlled medicines?

No. If testosterone testing or treatment may help, we'll recommend follow-up with a primary care doctor, urologist or endocrinologist.

Is my information private?

The self-check on this page runs only in your browser and nothing is saved. You only text us the word START; we then send a secure link, and your health questionnaire is collected through a HIPAA-compliant intake system.
