Can Americare handle a prior authorization for a GLP-1 medication?

Coverage and prior authorization depend on the health plan and clinical criteria. A refill evaluation does not guarantee insurance authorization.

Does Americare prescribe compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide?

Americare does not promise compounded GLP-1 products. Requests involving compounded medications require separate clinical and legal review based on the product, pharmacy, FDA status, and applicable law.
